California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo A Cappella Group: Take it SLO 2010-2011

My name is Shannon Conmy and I am about three weeks away from the finale of my educational career. I am twenty-two, a senior at California Polytechnic University San Luis Obispo, a Business student concentrating in Marketing, an a cappella soprano, a Barista, a daughter, a sister, a Celiac, a poet, a runner, a best friend, and an all-around hopeful life enthusiast.

I, much like you, have good days and bad days. I created this blog to remind myself every day that my life and everything in it is wonderful, even when it doesn't always feel like it. As of April 9, 2013, I began a daily “Highlights Journal”, inspired by my world traveling friend, David.

I started journaling because after my adventure with David in Europe, my collegiate life in San Luis Obispo started to feel deceivingly bland. I needed an activity that would help remind me how lucky I truly am for the life I am so privileged to have.

I love writing and learning and life…I hope to elevate these passions even more through “My Monthly Serendipities”. Enjoy :)
